The Master’s Program for Future Global Leaders in Environmental Policy (MGLEP) funded by the Ministry of Environment of Korea is a Korean government providing scholarship program designed to support human resource development by providing young leaders from our partnering countries with full scholarships for graduate degrees in prestigious universities in Korea.

The MGLEP has begun in 2015 with the aim to promote our environmental cooperation with partner countries by providing future leaders of the countries with an opportunity of master’s degree study on national sustainable development and environmental policies.

A total of 76 students from 22 countries have entered in MGLEP since then and are currently studying in Korea.

For an effective program, National Institute of Environmental Human Resources Development (NIEHRD) will cooperate with capable graduate schools in Korea to provide an opportunity for participants to accumulate their knowledge of environmental policy and technology as well as other areas of interest such as regional development and public policy.
